I am blessed with a life that is peppered with explosive opportunity, substantial intellectual challenge, and, most importantly, a delectable handful of friends who account for half of the colorful life I lead. Of late, my friends from Baguio City have done the Highlands proud, and produced a short film about relationships and the unexpected twists of fate that make up life. It is titled "BANGA", and it will be screened for the first time in Metro Manila this Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the MOGWAI Cinemathique. Though the screenings are By Invitation Only, it is hoped that in the near future we can have more screenings available to the public.
Following is a short synopsis of the film:
 “BANGA”A Short Film by Gadge GunnBANGA is a short film about relationships and the unexpected twists of fate that make up life. Ban-ay, a woman in her thirties from the Mountain Province, reflects on a distant past she tried to run away from. Eventually, Ban-ay journeys back to the quaint town where she faces her past so she can heal relationships. CAST OF CHARACTERS:
